Following on from our win at the British Animation Awards and our shortlisting for the Oscars; our animated film, Black Slide, was nominated in the 50th Annie Awards in the Best Short category.
The Annie Awards are accolades which the Los Angeles branch of the International Animated Film Association, ASIFA-Hollywood, has presented each year since 1972 to recognize excellence in animation shown in cinema and television.
We flew out to LA for the event, with our friends from The Hive Studio and although we didn’t win this time, it was a huge honour to be selected as one of five finalists in the best short animation category, from hundreds of entries.
