This is Manchester

We were delighted to work once again with Mfour/Manchester City Council who tasked us with creating this years Christmas film for our home city of Manchester. Manchester City Council wanted us to create a humorous, heartwarming and poignant animation. We were tasked with working up a creative treatment and animation that involved the familiar Santa and Rudolph characters from last years campaign and that captured the main points of the brief. Adapted from Chris Jenning’s original Father Christmas design, we designed a couple of additional characters in the same style to help tell our story and promote that sense of togetherness and support at Christmas. We wanted to find a creative way of revealing   the bee emblem of Manchester at the end of the animation as it has come to mean so much more to Mancunians over the past year in particular.

We were also commissioned to produce a series of digital 6 sheet animations and Prints for Out of Home Advertising, some of which you can see below.
