NB Furon – Lead the Hunt

Working closely with Ear to the Ground and Chief Productions, we were tasked with creating and posing a series of photoreal CGI Lions, to run alongside Liverpool FC’s Sadio Mane, for New Balance‘s ‘Lead The Hunt’ promotional campaign. Real lions were considered a bit of a risk to Mane’s future career, so our specialist creature team were brought in to model a photoreal lion in CGI and composite them into the plates. As with any animal covered in hair, our CGI lions needed a good deal of time spent on their hair groom. Take a look at some of the final posed images and lion renders below.
